TOP NAME BUYERS JOIN MEET YOUR FUTURE DEAL 
   
Major international brands are rushing to join the International Festival for Business Club as buyers, looking forward to meeting other members and sourcing products, services and partners across the globe. 

Household names, with huge buying power, from a range of sectors are queueing up to take part in Meet Your Future Deal, the world’s biggest, free meet the buyer event this year.

Sector specialists will provide tailored guidance on how to prepare your tender and what services and products Liverpool City Council will be sourcing in the next six, 12 and 18 months. “We are pleased to support IFB2016 and to provide a platform for businesses to engage with our procurement specialists.” 

Heathrow: 
Looking to source a range of products and services including LED lighting products, staff uniforms and lighting maintenance services. 

Kendal Nutricare: 
A British pharmaceutical company looking to meet buyers and suppliers, it specialises in the manufacture of products from infant formula to pharma-grade anti allergen and complete meals, for brands including GSK, Boots, Meiji, H J Heinz, Nutricia, United Pharmaceuticals, Hero and Danone.

MEET THE EXPERT
   
Sometimes a bit left field. Sometimes bringing the unexpected but always sure to deliver genuine commercial value to your business, Meet the Expert is a series of free masterclasses designed specifically to inform and inspire small to medium-sized companies that want to increase their reach and overcome barriers to growth. 

The daily masterclasses will be delivered by experts with strong track records of success in a diverse range of areas. The sessions are completely free to International Festival for Business Club members. 

Topics range from ‘Seven essential elements of successful international marketing’ to ‘Funny Business’ (incorporating humour into presentations for diverse or international audiences) and everything in between.

INTERNATIONAL SPEAKER LINE-UP TO DISCUSS GLOBAL ENERGY SECURITY
   
High level senior decision makers from the European Commission, US Department of Homeland Security, UK Power Network and National Grid dominate the speaker line-up at Energy 2016: Risk, Resilience and Cyber Security of Global Supplies.

SOUTH KOREA WILL BRING DELEGATES THE QUICKEST GATEWAY TO THE ASIA-PACIFIC MARKET
   
Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) and Invest Korea (IK) will run a major forum and an exhibition stand at IFB2016 June 14th. 

Designed to support UK and EU businesses interested in exploring the South Korean market, the most pivotal market in the North East Asia, the forum will show delegates how to expand into the Asia-Pacific region. 

Korea provides an ideal environment for business success, such as world-class infrastructure, intellectual property rights protection, high quality of life, FDI-friendly government policies, one-stop investment services and more. 

In the World Bank’s Doing Business 2015 report, Korea was ranked the 4th easiest place in the world to do business.
