Four clubs out of the nearly 600 in Scotland have been recognised for their efforts in going the extra mile and helping to build a legacy from The 2014 Ryder Cup. They have been named ‘Ultimate Venues’ in conjunction with Sky Sports, the competition’s official broadcaster.

The winners are St Fillans (pictured) in Perthshire,  West Lothian club of PumpherstonSandyhills in Glasgow and Inverurie in Aberdeenshire, and will each receive a state-of-the-art 3D TV for their clubhouse, ensuring their club is the place to be for those not attending at Gleneagles in person. The Ryder Cup will also visit the clubs, offering members and visitors the rare chance to have their photograph with the iconic trophy and attract more golfers to their club for the day.
