Oil & Gas UK, the representative organization for the UK offshore oil and gas industry, announced Monday a number of new appointments to its board. Elisabeth Proust, managing director of Total, has been appointed as the representative of the operator community, replacing Philippe Guys who has retired from the French oil and gas firm. Neil Sims, vice president for the Europe CIS Region at Expro, was appointed as a representative of the contractor community, replacing Doug Sedge of Sparrows Offshore Group Limited, and Tove Stuhr Sjøblom, Statoil’s managing director in Aberdeen, has been appointed as a representative of the operator community, replacing Statoil’s Gunnar Breivik.
