HPI, LLC receives the FastTech 50 and Enterprise Champion awards
HPI, LLC, a leader in the supply of turbine control solutions and turnkey power plants, has been recognized as one of the FastTech 50, and is also a recipient of the exclusive Enterprise Champion Award. The FastTech 50 awards are presented annually by the Houston Business Journal and are awarded to Houston based high-tech companies that experienced the greatest percentage of revenue growth in the prior year (2008). The Enterprise Champion Award is reserved for select FastTech 50 companies that are particularly adept at innovation, skilled at overcoming significant challenges, and are active in the community. Top executives of the FastTech 50 were honored at the official awards luncheon on November 4, 2009. Hal Pontez, President and Founder of HPI, launched the company in 2002 following his work at Vosper Thornycroft controls. HPI has experienced dramatic growth since its start and an unprecedented zero turnover rate in core staff. HPI has an impressive project track record that includes the six month commissioning of a 300 MW power station, lending to their reputation as a “fast-track” company.
