A two-day workshop dealing with the assessment, classification, and reporting of reserves and resources using the classification, definitions and guidelines of the 2007 SPE PRMS and the revised 2008 SEC regulations.
Gaffney, Cline & Associates (GCA) will present a two day reserves workshop with the objectives of:
ØProviding an overview of international industry practice;
ØEnsuring a thorough understanding of key definitions and guidelines and the relationship between reserves and resources;
ØIdentifying the key changes to SEC reporting requirements; and
ØDiscussing in detail the handling of uncertainty, including deterministic and probabilistic methodologies.
The seminar is designed not only for technical staff responsible for the preparation of resource estimates and those who oversee and approve them, but also staff from the accounting and/or legal departments that are required to utilize the resulting estimates.
Cost for the workshop is $800 per person and includes a copy of all presentation material. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
