John Micklethwait is the Editor-in-Chief of The Economist. After studying history at Magdalen College, Oxford, he worked as a banker at Chase Manhattan between 1985 and 1987 before joining The Economist as a finance correspondent in 1987.
Michael Skapinker is an assistant editor of the Financial Times, a columnist and the editor of the FT's special reports. He was born in South Africa in 1955 and was educated at the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and Cambridge University.
On 1 October 2009, Rees Ward took up the post of Chief Executive Officer of Aerospace, Defence and Security (A|D|S), a new trade association formed from the merger of the Association of Police and Public Security Suppliers, the Defence Manufacturers Association and the Society of British Aerospace Companies.
