Biography

Ken Rowe is YSC's Managing Director and co-founder. Ken has been pivotal in successfully establishing YSC as a globally recognised and admired business psychology consultancy. In the last six years, YSC has successfully embarked on a programme of significant global expansion, opening new offices in Hong Kong, Johannesburg, Houston, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Amsterdam and Ratingen, Germany, as well as continuing to grow and develop the Sydney, London, Edinburgh and New York offices.

Ken has worked with senior business leaders around the world for over twenty years and has extensive experience in advising management on the strategic deployment and development of their people. He is currently coaching a number of senior executives and also manages a number of YSC's key clients which, in the UK alone, include over 40% of the FTSE 100 companies.

Ken has responsibility for YSC’s development of intellectual capital. He has contributed to YSC’s recently published book, Meaning Inc, (Profile Books). He is currently writing a book on the psychology of success. This draws on his in-depth expertise in the identification of potential. YSC has a global reputation in the area of potential and Ken has been the thought leader in this area.

James McCartney grew up in Scotland near several distilleries, and as a young adult, he worked on the railroad delivering whisky barrels from the Highlands to Glasgow. Today, as the Master of Whisky for Dallas, James conducts a variety of special events, including tastings, seminars, dinners, and educational courses.
