A Royal Celebration Concert

The Houston Brass Band is a traditional British-style brass band.  Music Director Robert Walp will lead this unique ensemble, with its extraordinary blend and exciting sound, in a wide range of selections, from Elizabethan music to marches, film scores, modern compositions, as well as the classics.  Rarely found in the United States, the traditional British-style brass band is known for its unique sonority and virtuosic compositions.

Join us as we once again play alongside students from the British School of Houston in a very special concert celebrating the Dutch Queen's Day and the forthcoming British Royal Wedding. The band will perform a wide range of music, including Walton's 'Crown Imperial', Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1, Frans Bauer's 'Heb Je Even Voor Mij' and film music from 'Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom'.

Admission is free, however, please reserve your seats by contacting the British School of Houston at (713) 290-9025 or eventsbsh@britishschool.org.  All are welcome to join us for refreshments in the courtyard beginning at 5:00 pm.
