Charles Andrews currently serves as the Global Security Director for NSS Labs, Inc. In this capacity, Mr. Andrews is responsible for advising, strategy, relationships and overall security, et al. NSS Labs, Inc. is world’s leading information security research an advisory company as it relates to cyber threat mitigation/forecasting and attack surface modeling.  Mr. Andrews is also the former Director of Security & Investigations for the world’s largest 3rd party financial payment company – First Data Corporation – TeleCheck (KKR). He worked with thousands of federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and is responsible for the investigation of FRAUD with the 7.2 million merchants and financial institutions that make up FDC-Telecheck customers.










Brian Birkvald (MCP, CISM, CRISC) is Vice President of Business Development, responsible for NSS’ strategic partnerships. With over 24 years in the security industry, Birkvald has long been a leader in the creation of partnerships and information-sharing initiatives among technology vendors, major associations, and security professional organizations, including high-profile organizations such as NATO, Europol, NIST, FIRST, ISF, CERT, ISAC, ISSA, the Danish ICT and electronics federation for it, telecommunications, electronics and communication enterprises (DI/ITEK), ENISA, and various states Intelligence Services. Previously, Birkvald was at Secunia where he served as Security Partner Director. Prior to this role, he held strategic positions with leading companies such as Novo Nordisk and IBM.

 

During Birkvald’s 16 years with the Danish military, he served as a supervisory special Security Consultant of the Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) NATO, Computer Forensic Lab, Computer Crime and Information Warfare Division ACE COMPUSEC. Birkvald has also served as a member of an expert group working with the Danish Board of Technology to create the “IT-Security Beyond Borders” recommendations to the Danish government and the European Union (EU), and in early 2013, he was appointed to the European Multi-Stakeholders Platform on ICT Standardization, an advisory expert group to the EU Commission.









 

Dan Solomon heads the Cyber Risk and Security Services division at Optimal Risk and is a leading proponent of a converged approach to security risk. He is an industrial espionage specialist and a practitioner of FAIR, and is a prominent advocate of red teaming and cyber war games. He served as Director of the Homeland Security Program at The Atlantic Council and has published & spoken around the world on Intelligence Analysis & National Security, Cyber Security, Critical National Infrastructure Protection.

Khambrel Marshall is a member of the KPRC Local 2 Severe Weather Team and host of the weekly topical news show, href="http://www.click2houston.com/community/newsmakers/2609772" style="color: rgb(54, 99, 142); text-decoration: none; outline: none;" target="_self">Houston Newsmakers. Khambrel delivers the weekend evening forecasts to help you plan your day.

A self-proclaimed "weather geek" since high school, Khambrel earned his Broadcast Meteorology Certification from Mississippi State University.

Living through and reporting on Hurricane Andrew solidified his thirst for meteorological knowledge, specifically tropical weather phenomena.

Khambrel is an award-winning journalist and joined KPRC-TV as weekday anchor in May 1999, moving here after 13 years in the Miami television market.

Among his numerous honors is one of broadcasting's top awards, the Emmy, for a feature series titled "Guardians at Sea," chronicling the efforts of the U.S. Coast Guard to rescue Cuban and Haitian refugees crossing the Florida Straits.

Khambrel received his broadcasting degree from href="http://www.asu.edu/" style="color: rgb(54, 99, 142); text-decoration: none; outline: none;">Arizona State University while working in his first job in television as weekend sports anchor in Phoenix. Khambrel remained in sports until news captured his attention while he was a sports director in Miami and was called upon to anchor during Hurricane Andrew.

Khambrel has a tireless commitment to volunteer service and has been honored as March of Dimes Texas Communications volunteer of the year in 2004 and 2006.

He was one of 12 recipients to receive the National Community Service Award from the Westinghouse Corporation and was named "Outstanding Young Floridian" by the Fort Lauderdale Jaycees for his humanitarian efforts in the wake of Hurricane Andrew.

Currently, Khambrel sits on the Board of Directors of the YMCA of Greater Houston, the March of Dimes, Texas Gulf Coast, and is a trustee for Goodwill Industries of Houston. He is a past Chairman of the Executive Committee of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southeast Texas, and recent board member of Collaborative for Children.

Khambrel is a Senior Fellow in the "American Leadership Forum: Houston/Gulf Coast Chapter." The intense ALF one-year program is designed to join and strengthen diverse leaders in the community to better serve the public good.

Khambrel has been married since 1979 to his wife Debbie and they have two daughters.
