Lunch & Learn: Procurement "How to prepare a winning proposal"
Mr. Garfield (“Gary”) Sicard, Director of Procurement for the Houston Office of CB&I Oil & Gas Business Unit, will conduct a discussion on the best means and methods for vendors to present their products and services to purchasing managers at large organizations.
This interactive event will both provide instruction on preparing winning proposal strategies and allow audience participation to present questions concerning industry practices and preferences. Whether vendors are new to the U.S. market or are hometown companies, this innovative event is designed to provide the tools and strategies to increase sales.

Mr. Sicard joined CB&I in 2012 after a successful 26 year career in the United States Navy where he completed various assignments including Petroleum Logistics Officer, Supply Chain and Port Operation Officer, Deputy Supply Chain Manager, Director of Materials at Supervisor of Shipbuilding Conversion and Repair Newport News, and Finance Manager for a Government research activity. Since arriving at CB&I, he has served as Regional Manager of Materials Management Systems and Tools, Sourcing Manager, Training Manager, and Purchasing Manager for Oil and Gas Procurement, Houston. He holds an MBA from Ashford University in Clinton, Iowa and is a member of the Institute for Supply Management and the British American Business Council.
