The British-American Business Council Houston held it's Annual General meeting on May 17 at the HESS Club and announced two new individuals to the BABC board, Cathy Pigue and Dr. John Ardill.

Cathy Pigue has been with United Airlines (Continental) for 30 years and brings not only her expertise in business travel, but event planning as well. Cathy will be chairing this year's awards dinner as United is the presenting sponsor.

Dr. John Ardill has been with Exxon Mobil for 20 years. He was recently appointed as Vice President of ExxonMobil Upstream Ventures.  John brings his knowledge of UK/US relationships in the oil & gas sector.

Derek Blackwood was reappointed by the board in April to the his role as President. Re-elected to their positions on the board at the annual general meeting were Sharon Pfeffer, Huw Rothwell, and James Prappas.
